Hair & Me!

One thing I absolutely love about hair is that it always grows back! As well as, you literally can do whatever you want and no one can say anything! You can have blonde, black, red, blue, and even pink! In today’s generation, people are doing things to their hair that just blows my mind! When people dye their hair purple and bright pink I just don’t get it! But hey, that’s what fashion is right!

I have thick hair so it is very hard to work with, so I tend to wear my hair up a lot. Although I wear my hair up a lot I still like to wear it down and curl it! My best friend has extremely thin hair so she tries to stay away from putting heat on in since it so bad for your hair!

I always get high- lights in my hair. When I was younger I had bleach blonde hair and when I was in ninth grade I thought it was smart to dye my hair brown out of a box. That was one of the worst decisions I ever made. From then on out, I had to get highlights. I could never get my natural hair color back unless I grew my hair out and I just couldn’t do that.

When it comes to box dye people tend to have mixed reviews. I am personally against it. Being blond, it is not good to dye your whole head because there is so much bleach. The bleach dries your hair out and causes it to break off. I have had many of my friends use box dye and their hair came out amazing. I am just the kind of person who would rather pay more money to ensure it turns out exactly how I want it to be.

I wish that I could pull off different hair colors but I am just meant to be a blonde. When I see women who can pull off any hair color, I envy them.

Hair is such a good way to express you.  In fact, when my ex-boyfriend and I broke up, I cut my hair added some more highlights and I was. With changing my hair I felt like a new me and I was ready to become happy again. Everyone knows the saying, “When you look good you feel good”.

There are so many trends that have occurred throughout the years. Here are some pictures that show just how hair- styles change just ten years apart from each other.
